Blingy is seeking a highly motivated, Front End iOS & Android Developer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about learning, creative and can work collaboratively with our innovative team, helping to lead projects that will shape the future of Blingy.
You will be using your front end development experience to define the roadmap and features of our upcoming App. You should be knowledgeable in Swift and Kotlin and have experience in using strategic thinking to create engaging interfaces.
The Ideal candidate is someone with an interest in mobile applications and the beauty industry. With their skill-set and strong knowledge of front end development, they will have a true impact on Blingy and the beauty community. This is an amazing opportunity to produce work that solves real business challenges and have an app with your work in it.
Responsibilities
Translate assets, wireframes, and mockups provided by the creative team into functioning code.
Work collaboratively with other front end and back end team members.
Ability to present code updates and usable application demos.
Submit application updates for review in a timely manner.
Writing clean, readable, and testable code.
Collaborating with back-end developers, designers, to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions.
Work with the product team, and the rest of the team to improve the overall user experience/interface design.
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of Swift, Kotlin, and Java development.
Strong knowledge of xctest, xcuitest and espresso framework.
Strong understanding of application semantic versioning.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly present work and findings.
Up to date with the latest apple and android app guidelines.
Previous experience in application development preferred.
Experience with profiling and debugging mobile applications
Strong knowledge of architectural patterns—MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture—and the ability to choose the best solution for the app
Previous experience with Firebase, Xcode and Github are must-haves.
Familiarity with push notifications and JSON format.
Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences.
Good work ethics, hardworking and flexible.
