Who You Are
Blingy is seeking a highly motivated beauty advisor to join our team. You will assist in ideating and using your knowledge and expertise in cosmetology to back our efforts in helping beauty lovers globally. Through an understanding of ingredients, efficacies, and safety in cosmetic and beauty products, you will help build an accurate and helpful platform. You will be working collaboratively with our creative team, helping to create projects that will shape the future of Blingy.
Ideal candidates have extensive experience with the beauty industry and understand the pain -points, and areas of improvement. They are strategically minded individuals passionate about solving these products for the benefit of the whole. We are seeking candidates who appreciate beauty and cosmetology, have a certified esthetician’s license, and are seeking to enhance the beauty community.
This is a remote work environment.
Responsibilities
Work directly with the creative team in ideating the pain points of the beauty industry
Solve pain points backed with a factual understanding of beauty products/ ingredients
Research ingredients and their efficacies
Provide team with solid, science-backed research
Understand the science behind beauty products and ingredients
Identify skin conditions and concerns and how to address them
Qualifications
Strong understanding of the beauty industry and it’s advancements
Knowledge of beauty products, ingredients, and their efficacies
Understanding of popular brands and products
Ability to research and understand scientific cosmetic information
Understanding of social media platforms.
Passion for the beauty and technology industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Up to date with the latest trends in the beauty indisutry
Good work ethic, hardworking and flexible.
